Like so many other British television shows of the 1970s & 80s, 'The Young Ones' has its own spin-off book, and it certainly reflects the humour of the original program. 
The most positive aspect of 'Bachelor Boys' is that it has a nostalgic effect for anyone who used to watch the show, or will expand the frames of comedy reference for anyone who is just discovering it. 
It’s toilet humour at best and of its day. It’s a bit of fun and a lot of nostalgia. It’s an easy read with some prompts for a few laughs, especially for fans of Rik, Vyvyan, Neil & Mike.
